Kelis lays out support needs from Nas - June 17th, 2009
Kelis (KA’lees) says in a court filing that she wants soon-to-be ex-husband Nas (NAHZ) to pay for tens of thousands of dollars in baby supplies.
Kelis Rogers is scheduled to deliver the former couple’s first child next month. She is seeking $20,000 to buy strollers, cribs and other baby supplies for homes in Los Angeles and New York.
She is also seeking money to pay for a baby nurse, nanny and other staff. Her filing states she didn’t work much in 2008 and is reliant on Nas, whose real name is Nasir Jones, to maintain her lifestyle and care for the child.
A phone message left for Jones’ attorney was not immediately returned Wednesday.
The couple was married in July 2003 and Rogers filed for divorce in May.
