Asian Debate: Can Indian Clubs Compete In Asia?
Late last month, Dempo SC created history by winning a thriller at the Jalan Besar Stadium against Singapore’s Home United and thus became the first Indian club to reach the final four of the prestigious AFC Cup. Does this signify a change we always hoped to see in Indian football? Do the Indian clubs have it in them to compete at the Asian level?
